I know what it means to change a habit. it is one of the hardest things to do in the whole world! I suffered from asthma, headaches, exhaustion, being overweight and was the kid who got a stomach ache when it was time for gym class! In college, huffing and puffing on a bicycle because I was so out of shape, I said “that’s it! I feel awful and I want to live the rest of my days with energy! I want to live a vital, purposeful life!” And I knew only I could make those changes. I had hit rock bottom.
I sought the support and knowledge to do so, and surrounded myself with as many positive people who were also living deliberately. That meant they were also positive thinkers who helped me emphasize the good and the positive in life, with gratefulness leading the way, every day. My life became more exciting, I shed the weight, became physically fit, beat asthma, and had more energy than I had ever experienced. Filling my head with positivity, staying active, and eating well changed my life forever. I value and embrace every day, yet always work to strike that perfect balance between physical, spiritual and mental health, just like you. I invite you to revel in the support we can provide for you to help you achieve your vital best!

I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian/Medical Nutrition Therapist from the Scranton, PA area with 3 years of professional experience. I received both my bachelor’s and my master’s degrees through Marywood University, and I currently work as a clinical dietitian in a long-term care and rehab facility.
I have extensive experience with the older adult population, but I enjoy working with all age groups, from young children to geriatrics.
My interest in nutrition began with my own struggle with my weight during adolescence, and now having the opportunity to guide others through their own unique journeys is such a rewarding experience! I work with a wide range of conditions, but some of my common areas of practice include weight management, malnutrition, diabetes, heart conditions, and kidney disease.
I have a passion for motivating people to reach their nutritional goals through positive energy and encouragement. My desire to connect with and build bonds with patients while providing education and guidance, is what I believe helps them to feel motivated and confident to make changes.
In my free time I enjoy going on hikes with my husband and our dog, getting creative in the kitchen, working out, and spending time with family, and I am excited to start a family of my own soon!
